It is a great pleasure to us that honorable Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee and our dearest M.L.A Gurupada Mete are trying to develop the rural area which are the heart of India as the country depends on cultivation and the proper education.As a result a women’s college has already been setup which is the crying need fotr spreading female education that was the dream of Swami Vivekananda, Raja Rammohan Roy and also Pandit Iswar Chandra Vidyasagar.

Vivekananda whole heartedly appealed for the spread of female education for the social upliftment of India. He opined if girls are educated, they can solve their problems themselves. This prime concept led to the spread of female education in India... Our college, I dare say, is the outcome of social and rural development in recent years in West Bengal.

I, being the Teacher-In-Charge, am always trying my best to earn good name of the college through proper administration, regarding class- teaching, discipline and all- round academic progress of the students with full co-operation of all concerned.

মাননীয় বিধায়ক গুরুপদ মেটে মহাশয়ের ঐকান্তিক প্রচেষ্টা ও কলেজ কমিটির তিন বৎসরের অক্লান্ত পরিশ্রম ও এলাকার মানুষের পূর্ণ-সহযোগিতায় মানুষের দীর্ঘদিনের প্রতীক্ষার অবসান ঘটিয়ে এই মহাবিদ্যালয়টি স্থাপিত হইয়াছে। এই মহিলা মহাবিদ্যালয়টি স্থাপিত হওয়ায় এলাকার অনগ্রসর, অনুন্নত ও আর্থিকভাবে দূর্বল মহিলারা উচ্চশিক্ষার আলোয় আলোকিত হবার সুযোগ পাইবে এবং আগামিদিনে এলাকার মহিলা শিক্ষার প্রসার ঘটিবে। আগামিদিনে মহাবিদ্যালয়টির উজ্জ্বল ভবিষ্যত ও শ্রীবৃদ্ধি কামনা করি।
