About The Department

The Department of Philosophy has been introduced in the year 2016. The Honours Course has been introduced from July, 2019. At present there are 3 teachers in the department. Most of the students of this college are coming from the remote village and they belong to the below poverty line. The results of the students are satisfactory. We, the teachers motivated & care the students in all respects about the teaching. The department has been continuously working on emanating philosophical ideas, classical and contemporary, Indian as well as Western. The department insists the students on developing analytical and critical approach to the problems of philosophy.  We delivered lectures in various fields such as, the reality of life and world, moral values, religion, social issues, logic, ancient Indian thinking etc. So the students can analyze their concepts, definition, arguments and various social problems. These develop their practical knowledge. The students can assimilate and assess new and unfamiliar ideas in any sphere of life. The department gave the knowledge about the curriculum that build up their mind and character which helps to strengthen their carrier. These effective thinking develops their socio-cultural sense to nourish the society overall and upgrade their empowerment. We are empowering students to take ownership of their learning and develop skills that are essential for success in the 21^st century.
