Message From the Principal

Established in 2016, Akui Kamalabala Women’s College is a degree college affiliated to Bankura University catering to the educational needs of the female students of Akui and its peripheral areas. It gives me immense pleasure to be a part of this women’s college in a remote area in Bankura District where there is scarcity of educational opportunities for women. Despite being a new college, we are pleased with the progress the college has made in these past few years. We relentlessly try to inculcate in our female students value-based education synergized with modern ICT enabled teaching-learning methods to produce well informed and emotionally sound generations for the future.

We also aim to equip our students with the socio-economic challenges of the society that they may face as women to make them strong for their future struggles. Our competent team of teachers strive to focus on the needs of each and every student and monitor and mentor them at every step, appreciate their achievements and guide them to overcome their shortcomings. . I am pleased to say that the administrative and the academic departments of our college work symbiotically to create a healthy environment in the college by maintaining good peer-interactions, student – faculty relationships and intra-faculty relationships. We also ensure that a clean and green ambience is created by pledging our commitment to the environment. My message for the students of this college is based on a quote of Dalai Lama: “With the realization of one’s own potential and self-confidence in one’s ability, one can build a better world.”–Dalai Lama . I sincerely believe that each female student must strive hard to play her part to create a better society in future which will thrive on the principles of honesty, equality and perseverance.With warm regards-
